Prime Home Styling
Terms & Conditions
1. Agreement and Project Authorization
By requesting services, approving a proposal, signing a project agreement, or authorizing work to begin, you acknowledge that you have reviewed and accepted these Terms and Conditions. The signed project agreement, approved scope of work, and applicable change orders together establish the requirements for your project.
2. Scope of Services
Prime Home Styling provides residential renovation, remodeling, improvement, repair, installation, design coordination, and related home services. The exact services provided will depend on the written proposal and project agreement. Website descriptions and general service listings do not create an obligation to provide a particular service until it has been confirmed in writing.
3. Property Assessment
Project pricing and planning are based on information reasonably available during the consultation or property assessment. Existing conditions concealed behind walls, ceilings, flooring, fixtures, or other finished surfaces may not be identifiable before work begins. Newly discovered conditions may require additional work, materials, time, or a written change order.
4. Proposals and Pricing
Written proposals identify the anticipated scope, materials, labor, and pricing for the project. Unless otherwise stated in writing, proposals are subject to expiration after the period specified in the proposal. Material availability, supplier changes, site conditions, permit requirements, and requested modifications may affect the final project cost.
5. Change Orders
Changes requested by the client or required because of previously unknown site conditions must be documented through a written change order whenever reasonably possible. A change order may modify the project price, materials, scope, or completion schedule. Additional work will not be considered part of the original contract unless included in the approved project documentation.
6. Client Responsibilities
Clients are responsible for providing reasonable access to the property and work areas during scheduled project hours. The client should remove or secure valuables, personal belongings, fragile items, and other property that could interfere with construction. Pets and occupants should be kept away from active work areas when necessary for safety.
7. Project Scheduling
Prime Home Styling will make reasonable efforts to meet the anticipated project schedule. Completion dates may change because of weather, inspections, permitting, supplier delays, unavailable materials, concealed conditions, client-requested changes, or circumstances outside our reasonable control. We will communicate significant scheduling changes when they become known.
8. Materials and Product Selection
Materials and fixtures will be selected according to the approved project specifications. If an approved product becomes unavailable, discontinued, or substantially delayed, Prime Home Styling may present an alternative of reasonably comparable quality for client approval. Client-selected materials may affect pricing, installation requirements, and scheduling.
9. Permits and Inspections
Where applicable, permits and inspections will be handled according to the responsibilities described in the project agreement. Government agencies and inspection authorities control their own review schedules and requirements. Delays resulting from permit processing, required corrections, or inspection availability may affect the project timeline.
10. Payment Responsibilities
Deposits, progress payments, and final balances are due according to the payment schedule contained in the applicable project agreement. Clients agree to make payments when due and to promptly communicate any billing questions. Unpaid balances may result in a temporary suspension of work until the account is brought current, subject to applicable law and the project agreement.
11. Completion and Punch List
Near completion, Prime Home Styling may conduct a walkthrough with the client to identify reasonable outstanding items covered by the agreed scope. Minor punch-list work will be scheduled as reasonably practical. Items that were not included in the original scope or that result from later client modifications may require separate authorization.
12. Workmanship Warranty
Any workmanship warranty provided by Prime Home Styling is governed by the terms and duration stated in the applicable project agreement. Warranty coverage generally applies to qualifying installation defects and does not extend to normal wear, misuse, neglect, unauthorized alterations, accidents, acts of nature, or work performed or modified by unrelated third parties.
13. Manufacturer Warranties
Products, appliances, fixtures, equipment, and other manufactured materials may be covered by separate manufacturer warranties. Such warranties are controlled by the manufacturer's terms, exclusions, registration requirements, and procedures. Prime Home Styling does not expand or replace a manufacturer's warranty unless expressly agreed in writing.
14. Cancellation and Rescheduling
Cancellation or rescheduling requests should be submitted as early as possible. Depending on the project stage, the client may remain responsible for completed services, specially ordered materials, non-returnable products, approved design work, or other documented costs already incurred. Specific cancellation rights are governed by the applicable agreement and applicable law.
15. Site Safety
Prime Home Styling may temporarily stop work if the site presents an unsafe condition, unauthorized access, hazardous material, structural concern, or other circumstance that could reasonably threaten workers, occupants, or property. Work may resume after the condition has been addressed and the site is reasonably safe.
16. Photography and Documentation
Project photographs may be taken for construction documentation, quality control, warranty records, and internal project management. Photographs that identify a private residence or client may be used publicly only where appropriate authorization has been obtained or otherwise permitted by applicable law.
17. Website Information
Information displayed on the Prime Home Styling website is provided for general informational purposes. Service descriptions, photographs, project examples, availability, pricing references, and timelines may change. Website content does not replace a signed project proposal or contract.
18. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Prime Home Styling will not be responsible for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential losses arising from circumstances outside the obligations expressly established in the applicable project agreement. Nothing in these terms is intended to exclude liability that cannot legally be excluded.
19. Updates to These Terms
Prime Home Styling may revise these Terms and Conditions from time to time to reflect changes in services, business practices, or applicable requirements. The version applicable to a project will generally be the version incorporated into or referenced by the agreement accepted for that project.
20. Contact and Questions
If you have questions about these Terms and Conditions, your proposal, project responsibilities, or an applicable service agreement, please contact Prime Home Styling before authorizing additional work. The written project agreement and approved change orders remain the primary documents governing the specific services provided.
